  I knowingly gambled on and older but high quality microscope and the seller really delivered! As described, it is in working condition. The optics are clean and everything works properly. It needs a cleaning as expected but is in otherwise good condition for a used piece of equipment. Excellent packaging of a heavy, delicate instrument. Prompt shipping after payment.   This item arrived on time, as described and very well packed. Even so, during the shipping process one of this item's capabilities became non-functional. I reached out to this seller, who offered me a complete refund; however, I was able to repair this capability by locating and purchasing the necessary, specialty replacement bulbs. The seller and I then reached a mutually acceptable price adjustment. Accordingly, I would be quite happy to do business again with this seller.
