Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure relives the childhood of the series' main character, Goku, as he travels in search of the seven dragon balls. The 2D side-scrolling action follows the original manga and anime storylines of Dragon Ball Z, featuring locales such as the home of Yamcha, a kung fu bandit, and the Tenkaichi Budou Kai, where Goku can battle one-on-one against Tenshinhan. The game features three modes of play: "Gocha Battle," "Tanman Battle," and "Sky Battle."<br><br>Gocha Battle features platform gameplay in several classic Dragon Ball scenes, where players can battle characters such as Jackie Chun and Inoshikachyou. Clearing "Gocha Battle" unlocks a harder difficulty option. "Tanman Battle" mode features one-on-one arena fighting, and "Sky Battle" mode puts players into the air, to shoot down bad guys with a Kamehameha blast. Multiplayer action is available through a game link connection cable.
