After the Purge, she spent some time in hiding with renowned Jedi Master Shaak Ti on the primitive tropical planet of Felucia. The execution of Order 66 and the death of her Master at the hands of Starkiller, secret Sith apprentice to Darth Vader, eventually drove Maris Brood to the dark side. She imprisoned Bail Organa, adoptive father to the baby Princess Leia, and schemed to ransom him to Vader. She even kept a fierce bull rancor as a pet, using it as a weapon in her fight with Starkiller. Eventually she swore to renounce the dark side, but the sincerity of her declaration remained unclear to the game's end. Voiced by Adrienne Wilkinson, Maris Brood is one of the more mysterious and intriguing characters of the film and game series.
